Portable Precooler System Cools Cherries In Hour

One compliment we get often from our customers goes something like this: “Woah. Your precoolers move a lot of air in a hurry.”

But what exactly does that mean for the quality and shelf-life of your product?

During a study we conducted on cherries in the Pacific Northwest, we determined that our precoolers produce about eight times as much as airflow as similar cooling systems. That extra airflow means the cherries were cooled in an 1/8 of the time that it would take similar systems to cool the same amount of cherries. In addition to better produce, that means cheaper labor and electrical costs.

Check out the story on Growing Produce for more information about the study.
