Airflow
Our designs provide as much airflow at pressure - if not more - than any other design we have ever seen. This means you can shoot air through hard-to-cool packages, such as cartons of table grapes, Higher airflow and pressure capabilities are available, if needed.
Design Advantages
Because the airflow is from above, and not at the end, we can provide vertical airflow pre-coolers of virtually any pallet depth, 5-deep, or 6-deep, or 10-deep, or 12-deep, etc. Doorways can be provided at both ends, so loading can be into one end, and unloading can be from the other, improving logistics and cutting material handling time.
This advantage also allows our precoolers to be built outside of your main cold room, with a roof membrane on top, so that they can be a "zero-floorspace" addition to your facility.
Compressor HP
Our standard is a 40 HP freon condensing unit per cooler, but larger sizes are available for faster 7/8th cooling times, up to 360 HP on a mini-rack. Ammonia, chilled water, and CO2 systems also available.
